Alexis Lavko

Alexis Lavko is a Managing Director at Epsilon Economics specializing in the assessment of commercial damages in matters involving intellectual property. Alexis has consulted on numerous engagements involving the valuation of intellectual property and the determination of economic damages in commercial lawsuits, including patent, copyright and trademark infringement, trade secret misappropriation, breach of contract matters and standard essential patent litigation with RAND royalty issues. Alexis' experience includes the evaluation and analysis of financial and strategic data to quantify lost profits, reasonable royalty and unjust enrichment damages across a number of industries, including pharmaceuticals, consumer retail products, consumer electronics and industrial manufacturing.  Alexis also consults on engagements involving the commercialization of intellectual property portfolios and the valuation of businesses and intellectual property for financial reporting, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and licensing transactions.

Alexis has acted as a Table Topic moderator at the International Trademark Association annual meeting on “Recent Trends in Monetary Relief in Lanham Act Litigation Matters in the United States.” Alexis regularly participates as an expert witness instructor in courses offered by law firms, law schools and the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.

Alexis is a board member for Chicago Women in Intellectual Property and co-chair of the Special Events Committee. Alexis is also a member of the Start Early Strategic Advancement Committee and a former co-chair of the Start Early Affiliates Board, an organization dedicated to providing quality early childhood education to all children.

Alexis holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with concentrations in finance, accounting and strategic management, and a BS from Cornell University.
