Ken Romig
Ken Romig is a Director with over 35 years of experience in economic consulting. He has served as an expert witness or consultant on intellectual property, breach of contract, antitrust and other general litigation issues, including venue transfer analysis, relevant market studies, and questions of commercial success. Mr. Romig has testified in U.S. Federal Court and the European Unified Patent Court. He has also consulted on matters before various districts of U.S. Federal Court, state courts, and the International Trade Commission.
In the course of his work, Mr. Romig has conducted analyses pertaining to lost profits, reasonable royalties, price erosion, and other economic damages within a variety of industries. He has also analyzed the impact of patent exhaustion on economic damages tied to downstream products. His most frequently engaged industries include semiconductor technology and manufacturing, wireless and mobile communications, network infrastructure, and personal and corporate computing.
Mr. Romig frequently advises clients by performing assessments for due diligence efforts related to matter funding and intellectual property asset valuation.
Outside of consulting in connection to litigation, he has studied the competitive effects of mergers on behalf of merging parties and government regulatory agencies, and engaged in analyses of diligent enforcement of state statutes.
Prior to joining Epsilon Economics, Mr. Romig was engaged in providing economic consulting services at Micronomics, Inc.
Mr. Romig received a dual Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Mathematics from Claremont McKenna College.
