Macie Stratton is a Senior Analyst whose work has focused on the Privacy and Cybersecurity and Compliance Advisory service lines. While working on Privacy and Cybersecurity assessments, Macie has assisted in manual scans of cookies and social media pixels to identify where user information is being collected and transmitted, synthesizing privacy and security practices while providing recommendations for improvement and reviewing and preserving data within third party systems for litigation purposes. She has assisted on Compliance Advisory projects by building complex CARE models, participating in the interview process of key stakeholders, and leveraging software's like Qualtrics and Tableau to create client deliverables. Additionally, Macie has worked on Independent Review Organization teams to review payments to physicians and consulting arrangements as well as participate in the writing of formal IRO reports.
Prior to her formal consulting career, Macie worked with a healthcare consulting firm based in Salt Lake City, Utah. She completed an internship with the firm and moved into a part time research role while she completed her bachelor’s degree in Strategic Management at Brigham Young University. During her time with the firm, she conducted reports on rural healthcare systems, including identifying social determinants of health relevant to those communities. Macie also focused her time on researching and synthesizing policies and regulations, participating in stakeholder interviews, and completing economic analyses that led to creating strategic recommendations to large hospital systems, other healthcare providers, and payers.
